¨To travel is to embrace the unknown¨.
We know what you are thinking – Is there even a way to travel scientifically? Most people, who get back from a trip, try to overhaul their routine and life, which if you think about is not a bad idea.
While the naysayers might say that you are still in the honeymoon stage, which is just temporary, why not look at the pros and cons of it. Yes, you might not like some of the changes but sometimes life has a way of showing you things that you thought you didn’t have in you. Embracing the unknown is a real challenge but sometimes, the reward is unimaginable.
According to a study published in “Proceedings of the National Academy of Sciences”, a group of scientists from Stanford conducted an experiment on 38 psychologically healthy people. They wanted to find out if a nature-walk for 90 minutes helps lower down the chronic stress of the participants. The results showed significant changes in the subgenual prefrontal cortices, a part of the brain that controls stress-related problems.
